dr. Michele Davide Sinigaglia

Born in Barletta (BT) in 1965, he graduated in Law from the "La Sapienza" University of Rome.

Police officer since 1989, at the end of the training course for Deputy Commissioners of the State Police, was assigned to the Milan Police Headquarters, where he provided uninterrupted service until 2017.

First assigned to the Immigration Office, he was assigned, from 1992 to 1998, to the General Investigations and Special Operations Division.

After directing four different Sectional Commissariats, he was appointed Vice Chief of Staff of the Police Headquarters in 2002.

From 2005 to 2008 he headed the General Prevention and Public Aid Office, on which the Flying Squad and the Operations Center depend, among others.

Effective 1.1.2007 he was promoted to the position of First Director of the State Police.

From 2008 to 2009 he was a manager of the Personnel Office and, until 2013, of the Division of Administrative and Social Police.

In August 2013 he was appointed Chief of Staff of the Quaestor. In this capacity he contributed to the preparation of measures aimed at guaranteeing order and public safety during major events and, in particular, the summits held in Milan from 1 July to 31 December 2014 during the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and, the following year, of the universal exhibition EXPO MILANO 2015.

In June 2015 he was appointed Vicar of the Quaestor of Milan.

Promoted to Senior Executive with effect from 1.1.2017, he was assigned to the Secretariat of the Department of Public Security with the post of Deputy Ministerial Councilor for the needs related to the establishment of the Monza and Brianza Police Headquarters.

From April 14, 2019 he assumed the position of first Quaestor of the Province of Monza and Brianza.
